Trevor and Ruth met whilst studying at Moorlands Bible College in 1988 and were married in 1990, just two weeks after their graduation. Ever since, Trevor has been involved in Christian youth & children’s work, first working for ‘Crusaders’, then ‘The Evangelisation Society’ and since 2000, for Synergy.
As well as providing administrative support for Synergy, Ruth is the Assistant Manager at their local Christian Bookshop and has two or three voluntary roles within the community and their home church. (Sheldon Road Methodist Church, Chippenham)
Their son Samuel arrived on the scene in 1992 and is now quite an accomplished trumpet player (Grade 7). He also provides technical support for his Dad’s audio-visual work during Holiday Bible Clubs.
Their daughter Joanna was born in 1996 and has also inherited musical genes, learning to play both the piano and trombone.. though not at the same time. Whenever Trevor is writing a new song, Joanna is always on hand to try it out and to offer constructive criticism, which Trevor takes very seriously. Both children attend a secondary school in Chippenham.
