Holiday Bible Clubs usually run for a couple of hours each morning for up to 5 days in the week and offer a fast-moving, fun-packed programme for children of primary school age. The programme consists of stories, games, songs, crafts and videos; all based on an overall theme and all designed to help the children have a good time and to understand something more of the God who values them so highly.
An important principle underpinning this kind of work is that Trevor is working with the church and not for the church. It is a real thrill for Trevor to see the children enjoying worshipping God together, but it’s also encouraging for him to see the leaders developing their own gifts in their work with the children.
