Janet Spence is a retired doctor who now has a bit more time to spend on local church projects, her four grand-children and on playing tennis. Janet is married to David.
Simon Nuttall is Synergy’s Chairman and Treasurer. An accountant in public practice, Simon is married to Rachel and is Dad to 8 year old twin boys.
Alison Withers works with children for a local church and school in Lea, near Malmesbury. Each year, she leads Scripture Union’s Polzeath Family Mission and is an affiliate of Scripture Union.
Megan Addicott is Synergy’s Gifts Secretary but also has a number of roles at her church in Chippenham. Megan is married to Richard and they have 2 grown-up children.
Becky Read is the most recent appointment to the team of trustees but has worked closely with Synergy as a leader of the X:site children’s event. Becky is married to David and has 3 children.
Synergy relies on the prayers and financial support of a wide range of people, without whom its work would come to a grinding halt. Synergy’s trustees play a vital role in this work, dealing with all the various financial, legal and employment issues relating to the trust. However, their value to the work goes far beyond their statutory duties. Each trustee brings to the role a wealth of experience (often working with children and young people) and gifts that support Trevor and Ruth as a family and in their work.
